Blackboard Certificate Error

Please be advised, ITS is working to clear the Blackboard certificate error presented in some browsers.

    What does this have to do with the security of exams already on the site? Dr. E

  3. Any updates? I have an exam on blackboard I cannot get into, even thru chrome.

    1. On most browsers, you should still be able to proceed to the site. “Proceed to site anyways (not recommended).” In the case of chrome, you have to click advanced on the pop up page.

  7. if not recommended tho, wouldn't that be a poor idea? I don't want to be 'hacked' or have my stuff on backboard compromised?

  9. Odds are if you add the exception, the site which was safe yesterday is safe today. The certificate error is generally a paperwork issue that requires paying the piper to validate your legit.
