Due to the power outage yesterday in the Engineering building, all networking services including telecom and WIFI are presently down. ITS is working to restore service to this location as soon as possible.
On Sunday, May 11 from 12:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Banner will be offline while system upgrades are installed.
Early this afternoon, some university internet services started to fail due across multiple campuses. Our internet service provider reported there was a splice to the fiber lines for several providers (three of which we use) that are impacting a number of schools and businesses within the City of Detroit. The ISP’s have repair teams onsite and are working as expeditiously as possible to restore services to the region.
At this time:
On the MCN campus we do have WIFI services and internet services with the residence halls working. Phones are working.
On the Corktown campus we have internet services working but phones are not working.
On the Riverfront campus phones are working but not the internet.
On the Novi campus, internet services are not working but phones are working.

Remotely hosted services including Office 365, Blackboard and my.udmercy.edu portal are functional. Banner and other VPN services are down.
We apologize for the inconvenience at this time and are working with our ISP partners to restore services as quickly as possible.

ITS is working with ATT to restore phone service to the Corktown campus ASAP.
The Connect Tunnel VPN client will be unavailable for system upgrades on Thursday, April 3, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. During this time, any system that requires a Connect Tunnel VPN connection, including AppNav, will also be inaccessible.
Microsoft is experiencing technical difficulties logging into the O365 environment and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We are aware @udmercy.edu accounts are affected and are monitoring their progress.
On Saturday, March 1 from 12:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Banner will be offline while system upgrades are installed.
