Reminder: New IBridge Server to be installed tomorrow at 4 PM

I will install the new IBridge server tomorrow at 4 PM. Please be off the system at that time. You will be able to log in very soon after 4. Please do not change any of your macro settings after 3 PM until the new server is brought online.

Current Internet Outages 2/22/06

Merit has resolved the network outages that were affecting all Merit users, including UDM. It appears that it was a DDoS attack against Merit causing some of their network equipment to shut down. No further details were released.

Current Internet Outages

Merit is currently experiencing network outages at their co-location in Chicago. This has caused all Merit users to have intermittent outages. Merit is currently working on the issue.

Currently we are experiencing out of disk space on Jupiter server, because some users back-up they c: in to they home directory. Network team is working on this issue. We will post the update once resolved.

APECS and Weblink are back up. We have not resolved all of the system issues but these applications are online and ready for use.

IR District leads to APECS Unavailable this Weekend

February 10-12 is time for the IR district to be created. Consequently, the system will go down at 5 PM on Friday and will remain down through Sunday evening. APECS and Weblink will be unavailable for usage during this entire weekend.

Weblink Usable..pipeserver had frozen

The law school reported problems with Weblink. Upon investigation, I found the pipeserver was in a "frozen" state. I restarted it and Weblink is once again accessable.
