PHONES -

A delay in phone response time has been reported by some of the users previously affected.  The problem does not appear to be as acute as before, but can still be irritating.  When using the phone - dialing, transferring or even answering will be delayed by about 2 seconds.  It will still work, but will give the impression of slow-motion and delayed response.  Anyone experiencing this problem with their phone should contact ITS at 993-1500.  Thanks for your cooperation.

PHONES - Sporadic Problem

We are currently experiencing problems in various departments where the phones are working, but with about a 2 second delay.  Dialing numbers or using features makes no difference.  When using the phone - users may experience that their phone seems to be working in slow motion and may also display a "scrolling effect" on the display.  Some users have also complained of slight static.  ITS is working with ATT and MITEL to resolve the issue.  Currently we have reports from Financial Aid, Registrar and the President's Office.  Please notify ITS if your office is affected.  Thanks for your cooperation and patience.
