Weblink is up - on original server
Weblink is back online, however it is on the original server. The switchover was unsuccessful. We will resolve the issues and retry at a later time. SHamilton

Weblink Testing Completed
The testing on Weblink has been completed. Weblink was available most of the day, with the exception of the hour shutdown, and has been monitored carefully. Diagnostic data will be analyzed and corrective measures will be taken as required. SHamilton 3:51 PM
Weblink Coming Down at 10:45 AM for Configuration Changes
ESD, Weblink's Vendor, has identified a problem on the mainframe which needs to be corrected to improve Weblink's performance. We are bringing it down for about 1 hour at 10:45 AM to allow ESD to assist us with these changes. SHamilton ITS

Weblink Access/FAC 20 Computers
A switch has failed that serves the FAC 20 office computers and the Weblink server. A replacement will be installed Monday morning at 8:30 am. Until then, Weblink remains unavailable. We apologize for this outage.
Slowness/WebLink/APECS Issue
Technicians on site report issue is not with servers but core switch in data center. Network management paged for fix.

Long Distance Remains an Issue
Our service provider was unable to resolve the issue over the weekend. Long distance calling remains an issue we will continue to address today until resolved.

Long Distance Update
Our ticket has been escalated and we are awaiting contact from a service agent.

The University's long distance service is not working. We have placed a call with our carrier and will work to resolve this ASAP.

Weblink
Weblink continues to be overwhelmed by many connections to it. We apologize for the frustration in trying to get into the system. We have plans to replace this system with the new enterprise system. Things will improve. The timing of this switch over is more than a few semesters away.
Mail delivery delay resovled.
From 6pm to 8pm, there was a delay in the delivery of internet mail. All mail was queued and delivered after 8pm.

Apecs & Weblink up at 8:15 AM
Due to month end runs, the backup had not finished when I arrived. The backup job was terminated to allow Apecs and Weblink to come up. Sorry for the inconvenience. SHamilton
