Weblink up 11/29/2007 at 8:10 AM
The backup job was still running this morning which prevented weblink from coming up. This was corrected and weblink is up at 8:10 AM. ITS Dept.

Quicktime Streaming Server Services Restored
4:15 PM Quicktime Streaming Server services have been restored.

The streaming server will be down for diagnostics and repair. No estimated time is currently available.

The streaming server repair has been delayed until after 1:00 p.m. today due to a delay in arrival of our service technician. Services are unaffected until that time.

The Quicktime Streaming Server will off line beginning at 10:45 am for diagnostics and repair. No estimated time is available currently.
Weblink up 7:20 AM
Weblink came up five minutes later than the usual time of 7:15 due to two high priority month end jobs still running which had slowed the backup job. The jobs were reset to a normal priority, the backup was canceled due to the need to have weblink up, and Apecs/Weblink were brought online. ITS Dept.
Quicktime Streaming Server
The streaming server was unavailable overnight due to a hardware fault. Services have been restored and the vendor has been contacted for repair.
Mail Delivery Services Restored
It appears e-mail has been queuing from 1:00 am to 6:55 am this morning. Mail is now being delivered.

MailBorder
The Mailborder spam solution for the university is currently offline. ITS is working on the issue. This will affects inbound email from outside the University. All internal email as well as outbound email should remain unaffected.

Mail delivery issue fixed
Please make certain to review your SPAM messages as messages between 9:00 pm and 11:30 pm were dumped into the mailborder junk boxes. Unjunk legit messages.
Internet Incoming Mail slowed down
Incoming mail is processing at a very slow rate. Investigation taking place at this time.
Weblink is up - response time may be slow
Weblink has been up since about 8:45 AM. However, the response time may be slow due to the extremely heavy usage today. Thank you, ITS Department
