All systems operational

To the best of our knowledge, all systems are up and fully functional.

Here is a general question: half the time I log into my TC account I receive the following message:

Server Failed

The server that was managing your session may have been brought down for maintenance.
You will be taken to the login page in a moment...
If this page does not disappear after a few seconds, click here to go to the login page.
If you need assistance, contact your system administrator.


This happens both off and on campus. Some days it happens 90% of the time I try and log into email. Could you please explain why, and how to avoid the proble (if possible)?

There is a glitch with the version we are on that we understand should be fixed when we upgrade. The glitch has to do with the fact that each session is not cleanly closed out when logging off the portal. If you fail to clear your cache whether that occurs by going through the menu's or automatically when you exit your browser, you will see the "system maintenance" message. You know though when you get that, you can get in within a second or two by restarting your browser. The upgraded version of Luminis is to properly clear up the log out process and allow a user to get back in without the false error issue.

We hope to have the upgrade in sometime in July.
