Connection to Dental and Home Directories Restored

This morning’s connection issue has been resolved.  TitanNet users may need to logout and login again to remount their H drives.

We are experiencing some technical difficulties with connectivity between McNichols and Corktown this morning which will impact some McNichols users access to home drives.  Network staff have been dispatched to address the issue.  No ETA as of this time but every effort will be made to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Athletics BlackBerry texting issue

If you are in Athletics and you are having problems with your BlackBerry device and TEXTING, we learned of a problem this morning. It was a SPRINT service problem, and they apparently have fixed it. If you still cannot text, try pulling the battery and replacing it and try again. If you still cannot TEXT, contact the Helpdesk.

Blackboard possible login problems 01/21 8:00 p.m.

There is a report that Blackboard users can't log in to Blackboard using their Titan Connect password. The problem seems to be originated in central authentication mechanism. Blackboard users may try to log in to Blackboard using their T number (student ID) as the password. This is NOT a permanent fix; as soon as the problem with central authentication gets fixed, the only way to log in to Blackboard will be by using your TC password.

We sorry for possible inconvenience; ITS is investigating this issue.

Update 8:30 p.m.: Blackboard is communicating with central authentication system and users can log into the system using standard user ID and TC password.

TitanConnect System Upgrade Status

The UDM Information Technology Services department has been performing a major upgrade to the TitanConnect INB, TitanConnect Self Service and other modules within the TitanConnect Port system. These upgrades began on December 26 and are continuing. All of the upgrades have been completed and a few issues are now being resolved. We expect this to be completed today or tomorrow, January 3, 2011.

Soory for the delay and any inconvenience this has caused.
