Blackboard maintenance scheduled for Monday 03/21 7:30 a.m.

In order to apply Blackboard software patches, Blackboard service has to be restarted. We plan on doing this on Monday, 03/21 at 7:30 a.m. Expected downtime for Blackboard services is up to 30 minutes. If you are using Blackboard at this time, please save your work and close your connection to Blackboard. Check this blog for possible updates.

The University of Detroit Mercy currently is unable to send email to the following domains:

TitanConnect Secure Imap/Pop3 Services down

The secure imap and pop3 services provided by TitanConnect are currently unavailable. Email is still available by logging into the portal at http://tc.udmercy.edu. We are working with the vendor to resolve these issues currently.

Update 3/8/2011 1:50 pm : Vendor is continuing to work on service outages.

Update 3/8/2011 3:40 pm : Begining at 5:30 pm Tuesday March 8 there will be a 30 to 45 minute service outage of all TitanConnect services to apply recommended vendor software in an attempt to restore all services.

Update 3/8/2011 5:51 pm : Software update has been completed. All services should now be operational.

The scheduled TitanConnect maintenance has begun.

Blackboard scheduled outage for Wednesday 03/07 at 7:30 a.m. - advance notice

Wednesday, 03/07, Blackboard system will be taken offline at 7:30 a.m. Blackboard system will undergo major redesign to integrate with Banner administrative system. This operation will benefit users with status of the courses and enrollments reflecting changes with much shorter lag.
ITS expects that this complex operation will take 3 hours to complete. Please check this blog for updates. Please adjust your schedule for work on Blackboard according to this.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Blackboard users accounts will be fit with corresponding @udmercy.edu e-mail accounts. After Wednesday, all of your Blackboard generated correspondence will be delivered to your @udmercy.edu e-mail account.

TitanConnect Maintenance - Reminder - Scheduled for March 7, 2011 @ 5:30 pm

On Monday, March 7, 2011 (the first business day of the spring break week), ITS will be taking down the TitanConnect Portal and E-mail for 30 minutes to apply patches. During this short outage, incoming e-mail will be queued.
