We are still working with Blackboard to find a solution to this problem. They have requested data and logs from our system and we have provided that. Still no ETA but we are pressing them because of the critical nature of this problem.
Are there any updates? The testing function is not working, Safe Assign in not working, the discussion board continues to be a problem. You also cannot create a learning assessment. The level of frustration among students, especially our online students, is enormous.
Sorry for the delay in updating today. It has been back and forth with Blackboard all day and while there is technical progress behind the scenes, the non-functional features are still non-functional. Over 40 exchanges occurred today between Blackboard support and our techs on this particular matter. We continue to press until this issue has been resolved.
Can you could provide an update of the status and an expected ETA for a remedy. Not being able to use Blackboard is severally hampering work productivity, and the teaching and learning process. A University wide update seems to be in order considering it has been well over a week.
Students continue to experience a high level of distress. For courses that are 100% online this is very difficult. Students who recently started with Detroit Mercy and are taking their first class are questioning their decisions. I think we will begin to lose students. There is little we can say as there is little communication or transparency.

We continue to work with Blackboard to resolve this issue and have escalated the ticket to a higher level at the recommendation of IDS.
