Riverfront - 25 WIFI Access Points Down - Resolved

As a result of the DTE power outage, 25 access points remain down and will be investigated on January 2, 2019 when the school re-opens.

Riverfront Phones - Reported Down by Provider - Resolved

ITS received notification the VOIP system at Riverfront went down around 2:17 am this morning.  ITS is investigating though the Riverfront campus is closed.

Evisions - Server Down - Resolved

The server that provides report capabilities is temporarily down.  We have reached out to ITS staff to address this issue and are awaiting more details.

TC Portal Down - Now is the time to use the my.udmercy.edu portal - Resolved

Legacy TC portal reported down.  While IT staff work on this, please know you can reach everything you need by using the new portal:  my.udmercy.edu

See your email for instructions on how to access - if you haven't already done so.

My is a bit more browser and mobile friendly.

Internet Down - Resolved

Internet service is down.  We are working with our service provider to re-establish service as quickly as possible.  Connections from off-campus to on-campus services will not function.  Connections from on-campus to off-campus services will not function.

Connections from off-campus to hosted solutions such as email will work.

Blackboard Down - Transition to New Solution Underway

As mentioned several times in prior email communications, the University is transitioning to a new version of Blackboard.  This process is expected to take until 12/24/18 to complete.  Updates on the progress will be shared on this blog.

We appreciate your patience as we have limped the existing Blackboard to its finish line after a series of system crashes.

Blackboard reported down as of 1:00 PM.  ITS staff working to restore service ASAP.

Blackboard confirmed down around 7:45 am.  ITS staff working to bring it back online.  We have had to engage Blackboard support for this issue.  Updates to follow.

Blackboard Down - Resolved

We are just learning from IDS that the Blackboard system is down and are working to locate staff to return it to service as quickly as possible.

We apologize for the situation especially knowing the effort to complete all work and grading before faculty are due to submit their grades by Monday at noon.

Blackboard - Now using Titan Pass Credentials

On Monday, December 3, 2018 at 8:30 am ET, ITS migrated Blackboard's authentication method to your new Titan Pass credentials.  

You can confirm your Titan Pass password by going to https://my.udmercy.edu. If you have not set or do not remember your password, you may use the "forgot password" link on that page. Your username (e.g., freshmjw) will remain the same.

TitanNet - Group Drives - Temporarily Down

Please be advised ITS is working through to restore access to the TitanNet G drives which are not mounting today.  No ETA at the moment but we are working as quickly as possible to restore service.
