McNichols Internet Temporarily Down

We are temporarily down on McNichols and have staff working to bring us back up. Estimated up time is 8:30 am.

Power Outage - IT services down until 9 am Sunday

Due to serious electrical repair delays restored power is not expected to be back up until middle if the night. ITS staff will return onsite at 7am tomorrow to bring systems back online provided power is back up by then.

Power Outage - Anticipated up at 6:00 pm

The Facilities department scheduled McNichols power outage is now in effect.  We anticipate IT systems will start coming up sometime after 3:00 pm and production level systems fully restored by 6:00 pm.  Additional non-production systems will be up on Monday by 12:00 pm.

Reminder - Power Outage at McNichols

Computer systems on campus will begin to go down starting at 8:00 am tomorrow.  Production level systems are expected to be back online by 6:00 pm.  Non-production systems will be up by 12:00 pm on Monday.

Briggs WIFI Down for Upgrade

The Briggs WIFI network is down but is expected to come back online later today with a stronger and faster signal.

 

McNichols WIFI Rebooted

The 802.11n WIFI environment on McNichols was temporarily restarted to resolve issues related to bringing the East Quad online.  We anticipate East Quad upgrade to come online within the hour.

All systems up

To the best of our knowledge, all systems are up and running.  If you have an issue, please let us know.

 

Dental WIFI Rolling Outages

While ITS completes the WIFI upgrade on the Corktown and UHC campuses, there will be times when areas of the WIFI environment are temporarily out.  This will be the case for Tues and Wed.  Should this carry into Thurs, we will update this blog entry.

Scheduled Blackboard software maintenance is concluded and Blackboard service is available.

To the best of our knowledge, all systems are up and running.

 

Blackboard Maintenance Scheduled for Monday, August 6, 7:30 a.m.

Blackboard released software updates and we plan to install this updates to fix some of earlier reported issues on Monday, August 6, at 7:30 a.m. in our regular maintenance window. Services will not be available for up to 1 hour and please close your work and log out of Blackboard/Knowledge before 7:30 a.m. to avoid possible loss of data.
