We had intermittent, short duration, issues with Internet
pipe supplying Dorms with the Internet service for several days, and ISP was
not able to track these problems to their source. This morning this line went
completely down and Dorm Network is running on backup network now, with much
lower than normal capacity. Users are noticing poor, slow service and time outs
on loading web sites of the Internet. Access to University (udmercy.edu)
network is not affected.
Please limit your use of Internet to absolutely necessary at
this time. We don’t have reliable information on how long this situation may
last. Please check this site for updates and information on repairing process progress.

Comcast is currently working on the line again. Hang in there.
Comcast has completed the work and we are back online with the full allocation for the residence halls.
