ITS will perform series of tests related to Dorms Internet
Service supply, starting at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 20.
Goal of the test is to check high availability system in
place and ensure that Dorms get best possible Internet Service in different
scenarios. Most of the scenarios tested won’t visibly affect Internet service
for Dorms; we plan on short full outage in service that won’t last longer than
5 minutes, though.
Total time to perform tests is less than one hour.
