Issue with Blackboard testing – possible short Blackboard outage on Wednesday Mar. 12 starting at 7:30 a.m.



As published in the Blackboard announcement, we have test invoking problem in our Blackboard service since upgrade to new release of the software. Blackboard Tech Support is still working on the solution and they informed us that the fix may be ready for installation as soon as Wednesday morning. We still expect confirmation that this fix is developed and tested.

Having in mind that problem with invoking test causes lot of trouble to our students and faculty and impacts predefined schedule, we’d like to install this software patch as soon as we get it.

Please continue to follow Blackboard announcements and this site for the latest updates. Installation of the software fix requires Blackboard services shutdown as usual and, if we get that fix in time, we plan on applying it Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. with expected service outage up to 30 minutes. To make your work safe, please close your session and log out of Blackboard before 7:30 a.m.
