The main internet connection to the University’s core servers is temporarily down and will be restored as soon as possible. Connections to and from the residence halls should be fine at this time.
ITS will provide updates as they are available.

This would include access to Blackboard as well. Nothing is wrong with the Blackboard server but it is just not accessible since the connection to the Internet for all servers is temporarily down.
At this point, we don't anticipate a workaround solution until at least early morning. Faculty should implement their plan B approaches should they have time sensitive submissions from their students. Email, onedrive and other University cloud based solutions continue to operate as they normally do.
Staff continue to work through this outage. No update yet just a statement we are continuing to work through the technical issue.
ETA to fix is estimated at less than an hour.
