Resolved: McNichols Internet Outage

The McNichols campus is currently experiencing an outage with the connection to our primary ISP. This affects internet access for the majority of devices on the McNichols campus as well as off site access to Detroit Mercy resources.

The Dental campus internet access should be unaffected but will not have access to McNichols resources

The Law campus resources will not be available offsite. Internet access and McNichols  resources from the Law campus are unaffected. 

Internet access from the wireless network and dorms on the McNichols campus should be unaffected by this outage.

ITS staff are currently working on the issue.

Internet service has been restored. Users may need to restart their computer to establish a new connection with the network

Updates: McNichols Campus - Campus Wide Power Outage

A DTE Substation problem lead to a power outage starting around 11:45 PM and running through 2:00 AM.  Many ITS services automatically started, however, the following services are currently unavailable: WiFi, Titan Net Home, and Group drives, Printing, and the Help Desk ticketing system. ITS is working to restore ASAP. All updates will be posted as they are made available.

3:00 PM - Home and Group drives restored

COMPLETED : Cascade Server Offline For Maintenance 02/04/2020 from 6:15 am to 8:15 am

Cascade will be offline from 6:15 am to 8:15 am on Tuesday, February 4th for planned maintenance.  Please check this blog for updates.
