TitanConnect Down
TitanConnect went down around 3:00 pm today during planning for next week’s training. The staff are working to resolve the matter and return it to service as quickly as possible. All data is fine; the application server is where the difficulty is being experienced.

Internet incoming e-mail appears to be down as of about 5:15 am. Messages are queuing. Due to University holiday no one on-site at this time but in the process of tracking staff down to address.

Network Issue Stabilization
The network connectivity problems from last week have temporarily been resolved by reverting back to the original wireless bridge to the Internet. After the Easter holiday, another attempt will be made to move to the repaired and permanent higher speed wireless bridge.

SPAM
We have been dealing with some issues with our SPAM solution. The vendor is working to address this matter. Please feel free to forward all spam to spam@mailborder.udmercy.edu to report it.

Per Merit, “We are currently experiencing a service issue within the Merit Regional Network. The exact cause and scope are unknown at the present time.” ITS is monitoring the situation.
