Title: Logged out users unable to access Microsoft Teams through the desktop client
User Impact: Users may have been unable to access the service when attempting to sign in or open the Microsoft Teams desktop client.
More info: The issue affected users who were logging out and logging in to the desktop client, or were signing into their machine for the first time. Users who had previously signed into the client would not have experienced impact
Affected users may have seen a white or blank page when attempting to access the service from the Microsoft Teams desktop client.
While we were focused on remediation, users who have access, were able to leverage Teams web application or mobile app.
Final status: We've determined that a recent service change meant to upgrade the web service infrastructure caused impact to the desktop client. We've rolled back the update and confirmed with some of the affected users and through our telemetry that the impact is resolved issue is resolved.
