We have learned but have been unable to confirm that resident users are experiencing extreme slowness when using Facebook. We know this is an important site for all and are looking for more information on the problem and a solution.
If you are experiencing such a problem, please let us know.
We understand access to all other sites is fine (with the exception of the P2P type sites). If you are having problems with other sites, please let us know.

To the best of our knowledge, all systems are presently updated.
We are very interested in feedback from our residence students who should be benefiting from some major network changes that took place this past Monday where all available internet bandwidth is now being shared equally and fairly by all active connections.

All e-mail that has been sitting in the incoming queue has now been fully processed and the queue is empty.
Hourly UDM received approximately 20,000 to 30,000 messages per hour. Of those messages, 90% are SPAM. Of the remaining messages, approximately 60% are for students and 40% for administration. Of the 60% for students, 10% of those are from facebook providing facebook subscribers info about activities on their profile.
