VOICEMAIL RESTORED

Voicemail is back up and running.   ATT has repaired the Data Circuit and we are back to full functionality.  Sorry for any inconvenience that this is caused.

VOICEMAIL UPDATE

We are sorry to report that Voicemail is still down.  ATT's first diagnosis of the problem was apparently incorrect.  ATT has been working to identify the problem and have it corrected.  They have been working with our third-party Voicemail Maintenance Company "Communitech" and also our IT group for a solution.  All involved are working diligently to get the Voicemail back online.  We appreciate your patience.  We will update this Blog as soon as Voicemail has been restored.

VOICEMAIL is DOWN

Voicemail is currently down.  The problem has been identified.  A circuit at ATT needs to be reset.  ATT has been notified and an ATT Trouble Ticket has been created.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.  Hopefully, the outage will not last long.

Blackboard Software Maintenance - Sep. 24 07:30 a.m. - Advance Notice

In the course of Blackboard Software Maintenance cycle, Blackboard has released important service pack. This Service Pack targets security threats as well as functionality improvements and problem fixes. We plan on installing this service pack in our regular maintenance window, Monday September 24, at 7:30 a.m. This installation requires Blackboard Service stopped; expected downtime is up to 1 hour. Please don't plan any activity for period of 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Monday; if you are using Blackboard please close the session and log out before 7:30 a.m. to avoid possible loss of data.

To increase quality of service, system that supplies Dorms with Internet service had to be restarted with the new configuration. This action resulted in brief Internet inaccessibility for Dorms users.

IT Labs - Opening Files Issue

We have been made aware that people are experiencing issues when attempting to open files that originate from other sites.  The Lab team is working to get the fix put in place ASAP.  They have to visit each computer and this may take until the end of the week to reach all IT lab computers.

Blackboard Situation Sep. 1

Due to glitch in Banner, Blackboard disabled access to courses in Term 1 at 6:00 a.m. this morning. This situation is solved and reverted to normal. We apologize to users who couldn't access their courses in meantime.
Automated Blackboard updates on courses and enrollments are suspended until process in Banner gets fixed. Please submit helpdesk ticket if you need to report irregularity in Blackboard operations.
