McAuley circuit problem 9-29 ***RESOLVED

We have detected that the circuit between McNichols and McAuley's Connor location has gone down again. After some testing, we contacted the provider again, and they will be testing and getting back to us. We will keep this blog updated as we hear from them.

***UPDATE***
The carrier is dispatching a technician early Friday.

Blackboard service has to be restarted; this is scheduled for regular maintenance window, Monday, September 26, starting at 7:30 a.m. To avoid possible data loss, users are advised to close the work and log out of Blackboard session before 7:30 a.m.

McAuley Clinic Circuit Problem ***RESOLVED

We are having circuit problems between McNichols and the McAuley Clinic again this morning. It was up and down during the weekend, and it is definitely down now, Monday morning. We have a trouble ticket called into the provider, and we will update this post as we hear from them.

The mainframe is down and currently will not take a boot (restart). Sorry for the inconvenience, ITS Dept.

McAuley Clinic Circuit Issue

We see that the T1 to McAuley is down again. A service call was made to the provider again, and we'll report what they find as soon as we hear back.

UPDATE: The provider has been working with local telco, and the circuit seems stable now. It did not go down at all during the night of 9/8-9/9. We will keep monitoring the connection.

The UNISYS and APECS environment is available again. This availability may be of short duration as the hardware is generating numerous errors. Thank you, ITS Dept.

UNISYS and APECS down

The UNISYS mainframe has failed to come online after 3 attempts. Since this hardware is old, we are allowing it to be down for an hour before an attempt is made to bring it back online. It is generating hardware errors, so ITS will make every attempt to bring it back online. Thank you, ITS Dept

TitanConnect Portal Maintenance Scheduled for Friday, September 2nd @ 7:00 a.m.

TitanConnect portal web servers will undergo maintenance beginning at 7:00 a.m. and lasting to approximately 7:15 a.m. on Friday, September 2nd. Intermittent outages can be expected during this time. This maintenance will not affect mail clients using pop3 or imap connections.
