Oracle Production database Maintenance scheduled

The production Oracle database will be unavailable Friday Jan. 30 starting at 4am. A required Banner database change is being applied which requires all users to be logged off. The expected time of completion for the change is 3 hrs.

Please check this blog for status updates and database availability.

Update 7:55 a.m. :  Maintenance continues.

Update 2:43 p.m : At this time all issues related to the database maintenance has been resolved. Thank-you for the patience.

Internet Incoming Email is Down

ITS has just learned Internet incoming email is down as of sometime yesterday and is working to restore this as quickly as possible.

Dental Phone System

The Dental Phone System is once again fully operational.  Thanks for your patience.


The Dental Phone System is currently experiencing problems.  We are working with ATT and other 3rd party vendors to resolve quickly.  We are escalating to the highest priority and realize the importance of getting back up and running as soon as possible.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Blacklisted by Comcast, Courts

Please be advised that messages originating from the domain are currently being blacklisted by several domains including Comcast and the US Courts.  ITS is working to clear our good name once again.


The cause of this is a user providing credential information in a response to a spam message.

Regrettably, we are still blacklisted by Microsoft.  ITS is working to clear this situation as quickly as possible.


Banner Document Management access

The upgrade to document management has been concluded - The system is now available.

Blacklisted by GMAIL and Microsoft

The domain has been blacklisted by Microsoft and Google domains (and possibly others).  ITS is working to clear the blacklisting.

A reminder to all - never share your credentials with anyone.

Blackboard services available - Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:50 a.m.

Blackboard maintenance is concluded as planned and Blackboard services are available to public.

Blackboard maintenance planned – Friday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 a.m.

Blackboard maintenance action scheduled for Friday, January 16, starting at 7:30 a.m. will result in short outage. Blackboard services are expected to get back online by 8:00 a.m.

Law & Dental Internet Now Working

The prior issues plaguing the Law and Dental school internet connections are no longer present and you should be able to access the internet as you previously did.  Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

MCN WIFI Now Online

McNichols WIFI connections across campus were up and down earlier this morning.  Around 2:00 pm, ITS resolved the issue and all WIFI is fully up.

Internet Slow Across All Campuses

ITS is investigating slowness across the Internet on all three campuses.  The issue was first reported late Monday.


Internmittent outages may be experienced while we diagnose and work to resolve the issue.
