Employee Listserver Failing to Reach All

The employee listserv appears to be failing delivery to all intended recipients. ITS is investigating why. ITS recommends postings to the employee list submit their events to MPA's Campus Connection to reach all until this is resolved.

Email services restored

The outage from Thursday 11:28 pm ended at 8:22 am this morning and all e-mail is now being processed. Over 50,000 queued messages will be delivered over the next couple of hours.

Email Gateway Offline

Our internal smtp server is offline. Incoming mail will be queued and delivered when service is restored. During this outage sending email will not be possible. Your mailbox is available to view messages delivered prior to this outage.

Update 11:26 a.m. Replacement hardware has arrived. Restore in process.

Blackboard maintenance scheduled Mon. 10/17 7:30 a.m.

Blackboard system maintenance is planned starting on Monday, 10/17 at 7:30 a.m. Expected downtime of service is up to 60 minutes. Maintenance includes upgrade of software components and configuration tuning.
Users are advised to conclude their work and log out of Blackboard before 7:30 to avoid possible loss of data.

Blackboard service restart Tue. 10/11 7:30 a.m.

To resolve reported issue with occasional Service Temporary Unavailable message, Blackboard needs to have service restarted and this is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 a.m. Expected service outage is 30 minutes. Please close your transactions and log out of Blackboard at this time to prevent possible loss of work.

It appears that access to University network may be affected by yet unknown factor, resulting in poor response from resources on University network.
