At 6:10 pm, an internet outage was experienced that affects all three campuses except for the McNichols residence halls. Earlier in the day, our ISP had reported working in the area to repair other issues. Networking staff are working with our ISP to resolve this outage ASAP.
Rebuild of infrastructure supporting affected services was finished at 6:00 p.m. on Apr. 15.
Food Services systems has to be finished and brought up to date by software manufacturer; they are notified and they will bring Food Service computer support to the required level of service on their schedule.

Dur to hardware failure this morning, various systems are offline and not operational at this time. This serious failure requires several hours of work to be solved. We are very sorry for services affected by this outage; please check this blog for updates on service action.
Comcast ISP service for dorms went down at 1:19 p.m. Our system automatically switched to backup line which has much lower capacity than standard service. As a result, users on Dorm network are experiencing slow Internet service. Traffic to University resources is not affected. ITS is working with Comcast to re-establish full service, but we don't have any reliable information at this time. Please limit your Internet usage to absolutely necessary at this time; don't attempt to use Internet gaming or video streaming.
