Security Alert - UDM Calendly Users - Stop Use Immediately

If you are using the free or commercial versions of the popular Calendely solution, please immediately stop use.  A vulnerability within their solutions is actively being leveraged by Ransomware attackers.

ITS would recommend leveraging the Microsoft Bookings solution as a replacement to Calendly.  Booking is free and available within our https://portal.office.com environment. If you do not have the Bookings app, submit a ticket to the Help Desk.

Microsoft Security Check

When logging into either your Office 365 account or My Portal, you may see an additional screen asking you to change your password. (See screenshot below) This is a legitimate request from Microsoft and you will be required to change your O365 password to proceed with accessing your account.

This is a new preventative security feature that requires account holders to change their password if there are anomalies seen on their account. Much like a bank will send you a notification if you access your online banking from a new computer or phone, Microsoft will ask you to change your password if it notices anything unusual.

If you have any questions, contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@udmercy.edu or 313-993-1500.
