Short-Term Dental Outage 8/1/07 Before 8:30 am

There will be a short outage for internet traffic on the OD campus while we make some adjustments to accomodate continued power issues. Service should be fully restored by 8:30 am.

Inbound external email is processing properly again. The issue will continue to be monitored.

External mail is experiencing a slowdown in delivery. The issue is a continuation of yesterday's problems. ITS staff and the vendor are continuing to work on the issue. Outbound email as well as internal email between students and employees are not affected by this current issue.

We are currently experiencing another email outage. ITS staff is working with the vendor to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The affects External as well as student to employee email.

ITS restored full function of the E-mail system at 8:45 a.m.

Mailborder out of service external e-mail traffic afftected

Our mail interface server is having a problem to receive or deliver e-mail to external e-mail servers.

ITS is working to restore normal e-mail operations.
