ITS concluded migration of Blackboard system to the new hardware, and software maintenance at this point. Blackboard services are available. Blackboard software upgrade, performed during this operation, introduced some new functionality and may have slight appearance changes in certain areas.
New hardware platform should improve performance of the Blackboard system and provide additional capacity to cover projected future needs.
As usual, problems related to Blackboard services should be reported to IDS or submitted as an incident in our Help Desk ticket system. Always collect all the relevant information (time of incident, possible error messages, steps that lead to the problem) when you report problem with Blackboard system.
