Issue Resolved

The networking team worked late into the night and was able to resolve the issue experienced affecting multiple systems across the University around 3:00 AM.

ITS has received reports of WIFI issues in West Quad and additional issues in other areas of the campus.  ITS is investigating.

my.udmercy.edu portal maintenance 11/15/22 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM

Please be advised the University’s my.udmercy.edu portal will temporarily be down starting at 7:00 AM, tomorrow, November 15, 2022 while we enhance its security by converting the authentication to leverage the Office 365 multifactor solution.  Should you attempt to go into the portal during this time, you will receive a notice indicating the portal is temporarily down.

Residence Halls - Internet Down

We have reports that networking may be down in the residence halls this morning.  ITS Networking staff are investigating and if down, will work to restore service ASAP.

Listserver Temporarily Down

Email distribution within the listserv is temporarily down.  ITS staff are working to bring it back online ASAP.

Banner Upgrades - October 15, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

 On Saturday, October 15 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Banner will be offline while ITS works to install system upgrades.

Emergency Electric Service Interruption at the McNichols Campus Tonight, 9/2/22 - IT Implications

As a result of the DTE emergency power outage occurring this evening at 10:30 PM, a number of services may come offline (WIFI, Cable TV, telecom) during the outage.  Should the outage extend further on campus IT resources may also come offline for a period of time.  Critical production services will be restored as quickly as possible.

Office 365, Blackboard and other hosted solutions should remain available during this outage.
