Blacklisted by Hotmail

The udmercy.edu domain appears to be blacklisted by Hotmail.  This typically means any Microsoft site is blacklisting UDM.  ITS staff have been notified and will work to clear this as quickly as possible.  Service may not be restored until Monday or Tuesday depending on Hotmail’s responses to UDM’s requests.  To reach internal UDM people, send messages to their @udmercy.edu account to ensure the messages go through.

It doesn't connect. It says "Server Failure" when I log in to TitanConnect and click on the "E-Mail" icon. This happens quite a bit, actually. It doesn't last for long, well, sometimes it does, but not often. Just. The "helpdesk" isn't the answer. Just get a reliable e-mail server. Thanks.

Over 3200 people accessed e-mail yesterday.

If you can provide some specific details like your login name or the computer environment you are working with, perhaps we can help. If you wish to keep that private, contact the Helpdesk.

Over 3200 people accessed yesterday? Well nevermind. Yesterday was the only day anyone ever needed email.

Everyday we see more than half the UDM population logged into the portal and reports of issues are minimal. The problem isn't necessarily the system. If you would like some assistance, contact the Helpdesk or post some details. Perhaps you could spare a moment to read the following http://it.udmercy.edu/documentation/TC_session_expired_resolution.htm or some of the other suggestions at http://it.udmercy.edu/documentation/index.htm which may be helpful.
