We are continuing to work to resolve this issue. Staff will return in the AM to stabilize the up and down jitteriness that we are experiencing.

Any chance of this being restored today?

At this time, no ETA. Work on the snow covered roofs will complicate today's continued effort.

update on outage?

We had a strong lead that the source of the issue was originating from an area in the Dental School but after further analysis this lead did not pan out. The network technicians are working through other steps to identify and isolate the issue. Please hang in there.

The work continues to resolve the issue at hand. We will have staff on-site tomorrow.

At 1:00 am, ITS staff located the source of the problem and disabled it. The network returned to its normal stable state and is working fine.

We were unable to confirm the Law campus was fully up but will do so once the Law Library opens today.

we apologize for this long outage and are taking internal steps to address the source of the problem.

I am conducting an all day exam on Monday at the dental school which requires the internet. Am I safe to keep the scheduled exam in the dental library for the entire day?

The cause of this problem has clearly been identified and removed and you should be fine.

As with anything technology, you need to always be prepared for any technical difficulty and have a contingency strategy ready to go.

It would have been appreciated to continue the updates via email or knowledge as this was going on as it affects many students that require internet on the 2 satellite campuses in a more public manner.
