Wind damage at top of Shiple source of problem for McNichols internet connection and loss of other services. Winds too heavy to safely repair at that height at this time. Crew will re-asses safety concerns early tomorrow in attempt to repair the damage.
McNichols campus access to www and myportal should be fine. Non-McNichols campus access is not.
Access to Blackboard from either location not fully functional though the site shows a login page, some locally hosted assets are preventing full Blackboard access.
More updates as available though next will likely be early morning.

Email via portal.office.com should be fine. The www site, My portal, Blackboard and other services are not fully functional at this time.
Wasn't the hosted blackboard solution supposed to remain up regardless of local problems?
To set expectations, expect at least an hour before our next update.
I cannot reach portal.office.com. Error message says, "No internet. Try checking network cables, modem..."
Staff sill working through issue.
On-campus access to off-campus portal.office.com not working until connection repair complete. Off-campus access should be fine to portal.office.com.
Resident students should be fine to reach internet from residence halls.
I have a BB Collaborate session scheduled for my online class, at 7:30p tonight. Any chance BB will be up and running by then?

At 6:20am still no access to Lansing Reilly Hall for both WiFi and Ethernet.
Repairs completed. Services restored.
Wifi is still awful in the Architecture Building.
