Title: Errors opening apps

User Impact: Users may have experienced errors when attempting to open any Microsoft 365 app.

More info: When attempting to open Microsoft 365 apps, a user would have seen an error similar to this message: 'Windows cannot find "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\office16\winword.exe" Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

Final status: We've determined that a third-party app inadvertently impacted users ability to open any Microsoft 365 app under specific circumstances. Scope of impact: This issue only affected Windows 10 version 2004, 1909, and 1903. Additionally, only users with specific Avast or AVG app versions on their devices would have been affected.
