Title: Restored users from Azure Active Directory (AAD) can't access OneDrive for Business

User Impact: Users may be unable to access OneDrive for Business.

More info: Restored users from AAD may see an error indicating "User not in directory".

Impact is specific to users who were soft deleted in AAD from Monday, May 18, 2020, to Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Current status: We've identified that a recent update introduced a code regression that is preventing restored users from accessing OneDrive for Business. We're analyzing systems logs to determine our next troubleshooting steps and a remediation strategy.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact users that were soft deleted from AAD from Monday, May 18, 2020, to Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Start time: Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 3:00 PM UTC
