SharePoint Online service alert Incident information Title: All users may have found some navigation nodes missing from publishing sites ID: SP220479 Status Service Restored Details Title: All users may have found some navigation nodes missing from publishing sites User Impact: All users may have found some navigation nodes were missing from publishing sites within SharePoint Online. More info: This affected classic sites. Disabling the structural navigation caching would have allowed the expected navigation nodes to appear. Final status: We've confirmed with affected users that suspending the flight mitigated impact. We've run commands to fully suspend the flight deployment and after extensive monitoring, have confirmed the issue is now resolved. Scope of impact: Impact was specific to all users visiting publishing sites. Start time: Monday, August 10, 2020, at 6:39 PM UTC End time: Monday, August 17, 2020, at 10:02 AM UTC Root cause: A recent flight designed to improve site navigation, unexpectedly resulted in impact.
